ISO MAGAZINE FEATURE
ISO Magazine had an open theme for their June 2020 #6 Volume 1 Edition. I submitted 6 images for review with a short bio included and I am delighted to announced they gave me a 4 page feature with 3 of my images and a bio included from pages 49-51.
The design I chose to use in the photo shoot was a piece from my 2019 Belfast Fashion Week Collection, ‘The White Collection’ called Adorned. It is a piece that I have always loved and it is so different to other millinery pieces I knew it needed to shine.
Adorned is a spherical design made up of the ‘Celtic Love Knot’ design. The design has been replicated 6 times from individual pieces. These are then attached together to make up the sphere. It was then embellished with wine coloured crystals in 2 different sizes.
The Make up and hair were done by myself. For the eyes I used individual gems to echo the ones used to embellish the design. and finished it with a simple red lip.
The photographer was myself. I was solely responsible for taking all of the images as well as being in front of the camera. You may ask how I did this and it is all about technology, the right staging, good lighting and camera timers.
I chose to edit the images with a black and white filter and introduce some of the colour back into sections of the image on the left. Take a look below at the full ISO Magazine feature.
