About Irish made awards
The Irish Made Awards are back – bigger and brighter for 2022. Now in their sixth year, the awards are all about celebrating home-grown talent.
In August 2022 I found out Saraden Designs was a finalist in the Irish Made Awards 2022 in the Accessories Category. I had applied for a number of years to the awards and 2022 was my year. There were 10 finalists in total and after being shortlisted by the judges it was open to a public vote.
The Awards were held in the Morrison Hotel Dublin on October 7th 2022. I brought my Mum to the awards with me. She is my right hand woman and is always there for me. We arrived to a beautiful cocktail reception and soon seated. The room itself was beautifully set. Clara Heron the editor of The Irish Country Magazine opened the awards with a beautiful speech.
The awards kicked off after our 4 course meal and the Accessories category was the second to be announced with The Blarney Woolen Mills sponsoring the prize. The Unfortunately Saraden Designs did not win the award but it was an absolute honor to make to the finals and we had a beautiful day.
