London Fashion Weekend – Trend Show

I had the best weekend of my life at London Fashion Weekend! Way back in February I was given a present of a trip to London Fashion Weekend by my BFF Stephen, fast forward to this weekend and we flew out to London for the event.

On Saturday September 24th we got dressed in all our finery and off we went to the Saatchi Gallery in London for the Fashion Shows. The experience is not just about the fashion shows, each floor is filled with fashion, shoes, bags and jewelry from designers such as Armani Exchange, Apples & Figs, Chupi, Bad Denim, Candies, Jane Carr, Jigsaw, John & Pearl, Paper London, Waven and Osman are just to name a few of the designer present over the weekend and you can purchase some rather amazing buys from them on the day.

We arrived at the Saatchi Gallery and collected our tickets and we received a unique designer tote filled with a few little treats and of course when in Rome, we headed straight to the champagne bar because after all it is very hard work looking at fashion.

I decided as I have launched my online store this year then I had to wear my favorite of my necklace designs to the event. It is a Saraden original and nobody will ever have anything like it. I got some very lovely compliments whilst at the shows, so I’m absolutely delighted with myself. I wore it with a simple black dress and a yellow coat which set off the yellow feathering in the necklace perfectly.

After our browsing and champagne drinking we entered the room where the show would be happening and to our right we had the lovely press and much to our delight we go second row seats.

The show began with host Laura Jackson rocking up in her red Morv dress which you can purchase here. She welcomed everyone to the show and gave us a little glimpse into what we were about to see. The first show we saw was a trend show with selections from Avenue 32 in 3 different sections lace, velvet and floral. Take a look at the show stills below.

I have taken a few key pieces which featured on the catwalk and have given you the chance to shop conveniently below. If you like any of the looks simply click on the pictures to be redirected to Avenue 32’s website.
